The position is located in the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO), Construction, Facility, and Security Management Directorate (CFSM), Office of the Management (FAC), Program Support Division (PS), and is assigned to the Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT)/Environmental Program. FAC provides global support in operating and maintaining Department of State (DOS) facilities and related equipment at overseas posts, by providing professional specialty services to ensure that post personnel are in safe, secure and functional facilities. The incumbent serves as a Physical Scientist in the Program Support Division to the Office of Facility Management and is responsible for providing management, engineering expertise, and support necessary to remediate hazardous material contamination affecting water quality.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret
Incumbent will be subject to random drug testing.
Overseas travel may be required.
Relocation expenses will NOT be paid.
